This is a rolling USATF/CT certified 5K course following the paved Red Trail around the MDC Reservoirs in West Hartford. It features a few climbs, beautiful views and a fast down hill finish.
Bobby’s Run is a scenic 8 Mile loop around the Shenipsit Reservoir - including the towns of Vernon, Ellington & Tolland - established in honor of Bob Bonadies who tragically lost his life in a skydiving accident in 2002. Registration and Start/Finish are at Northeast School, 69 East Street, Vernon, CT. There is a $10 fee for the race, and proceeds will be donated to the R.J. Bonadies Scholarship Fund at Rockville High School. Awards to the Top 3 Male & Female Finishers. Training Runs on the race course will be held each Sunday Morning at 8:00 AM starting on April 7th.
